do donmarino50 : My politically-incorrect opinion is many females who say they're bi mean they're not "typical" lesbians. The public face: I tried it, liked it, as many "normal" women do. So I'm "into women" like some other lady might be "into" the gypsy look, or romantic comedies; an avocation.
So if a lady tells a straight friend she's bisexual, she's saying, "I'm a free spirit. I enjoy it. If I didn't I wouldn't do it. Some people like sushi, some don't. Her message is, "How about you? If you want to, it might happen. But no big deal, I like guys." If her friend is also "into girls," or curious, they're on the same page.
What's reality? She might not totally rule out guys, but chances are slim. She much prefers lesbian sex, and is hitting on her.
